The Roman numerals are applied elements rather than printed ones. Each index is individually seated onto a pre-drilled dial base. We measure rotational alignment for every numeral, especially the larger markers like the VI and IX positions. If the anchoring angle is even half a degree off, the visual imbalance becomes noticeable on wrist inspection, so we perform alignment checks from multiple viewing angles instead of one frontal check.

The fluted bezel is structured using a steel-cut pattern with uniform ridge geometry. Unlike two-tone bezels, steel bezels expose machining inconsistencies more easily because the reflection pattern is harsher. We check the bezel using rotational light sweep to ensure that the ridge reflections remain symmetric, confirming that each cut maintains the correct angle and depth.

The sapphire crystal is examined with attention to the cyclops lens. For Roman numeral dials, the rectangular date window creates a visual tension with the circular magnifier, so the magnification must sit cleanly over the date disc. We evaluate the cyclops using a side-view test as well as frontal inspection because misalignment shows more clearly on darker dials.

The 3235-style movement undergoes amplitude monitoring in three positions, not to replicate chronometer certification but to confirm consistency across daily-use ranges. Rotor noise is checked using a controlled acoustic chamber; steel bracelet resonance can amplify minor rotor imperfections, so this step is essential for ensuring a quiet winding experience.

The Jubilee bracelet receives articulation testing to confirm that the five-piece links bend without stiffness or uneven gaps. Since this is a full-steel configuration, color uniformity is less of a concern than surface finishing. We check for brushing consistency on outer links and polishing clarity on center links, ensuring the bracelet transitions cleanly against the polished lugs.

The watch passes QA once the dial alignment, light reaction, movement stability, and bracelet articulation meet internal tolerances. Blue Roman dials require more precise QC because the contrast between polished markers and the gradient background makes imperfections more detectable, and the inspection process reflects that.
